OrderMotion First in its Class to Receive PCI DSS Level 1 Compliance Certification
Small and medium-sized merchants now have certified access to the highest credit-card and data processing standards for their businesses
OrderMotion, Inc., the leading provider of on-demand, direct commerce solutions for small- to medium-sized merchants, today announced that it has been certified as Level 1 compliant with the Payment Card Industry (PCI) data security standard and is the first in its class to do so.
PCI DSS is a set of comprehensive requirements for enhancing payment account data security. It was developed by the founding payment brands of the PCI Security Standards Council, including American Express, Discover Financial Services, JCB, MasterCard Worldwide and Visa International, to help facilitate the broad adoption of consistent data security measures on a global basis. The PCI DSS certification itself is a multifaceted security audit that includes requirements for security management, policies, procedures, network architecture, software design and other critical protective measures.
OrderMotion is the first service provider of its class to become PCI DSS compliant, ensuring OrderMotion customers the strictest level of data security possible for credit card payment transactions managed by and through OrderMotion. Consistent with other service providers processing billions of dollars in transaction volume annually, OrderMotion is compliant with the highest level of the PCI service provider program.
